Tangentially Thomas

With the toy store chain Early Learning Center's retraction from American markets, their license for a BRIO compatible Wooden train system based around the Thomas the Tank Engine characters was given out to a corporate spin-off: Learning Curve Toys. Learning Curve Toys would design toys and play accesories. The company would be bought out by RC2 Corp. in 2003, which would then be bought out by Takara Tomy in 2011.
